Type of Events


You may or may not know that ZUMBA FITNESS is also a great way to do a number of other things.

  • Birthday Parties
  • Weddings
  • Fundraisers
    (single time events or a series of classes with a large portion benefiting the organization)

Just a note: Zumba at a wedding will not BE a workout since very few people are likely to be wearing sneakers. It is more of a dance/entertainment option at such an event or other parties, depending on what you want to do and the style of your party.

I am licensed in Zumbatomic, so I can entertain the little ones with a little taste of Zumba as well. The Zumbatomic sessions generally last about 30 minutes.

Results: Raised enough money to sponsor several weeks of fitness classes for East Penn's Seniors

Event: Zumba Fundraiser - Project ZERO to END prostate cancer!

Results: over $1600!

Results: We brought in so much food that Pam's SUV was nearly overloaded!

Event: Zumba Benefit Fundraiser
When: January 9, 2011 ~ 4:30-6:30 PM
Where: Olympic Skating Center
To benefit the CV students in the Oct 22, 2010 Wertzville Road accident. Looking for raffle prize donations of any kind. We will have Cat, Jenn, and Sandy, and some other instructors from the Harrisburg area helping out.
Results: over $4000!

Event: Zumba Party
When: December 12, 2010 ~ 4:30-6:30 PM
Where: Olympic Skating Center
Toys For Tots is our benefit for this party. Please bring new, unwrapped toys. You will receive 5 raffle tickets for coming to the party, and 5 more for each toy you bring. We are expecting uniformed Marines to be in attendance for a portion of the party!
Results: The Marines told us that we had the most successful campaign in the county!

Zumba "Sports Widow" Party
When: October 31, 2010
At this Zumba party, we were able to bring in 631 pounds of food for New Hope Ministries, a local food bank in Mechanicsburg that offers hope. Way to go, Zumba friends!
